What Is This Workshop About?
Ready to take your shibari skills to the next level? Join us for Shibari 102, a class designed for those who have completed Shibari 101 or have a solid understanding of the fundamentals. This hand-on workshop will be led by Ropebound Kitten, who will guide you through the intricacies of tension, fundamental knots, and various intermediate ties.
In this class you will:
• Refine your tension techniques to create secure and aesthetically pleasing ties
• Reinforce your knowledge of essential knots that form the backbone of many shibari patterns
• Practice applying these techniques in a few carefully selected ties, with plenty of hands-on help.
Whether you're looking to deepen your practice or expand your repertoire, Shibari 102 offers the perfect blend of instruction and hands-on learning. Come ready to tie, practice, and elevate your rope work in a supportive and skilled environment.
What should attendees know?

Attendees should have completed Shibari 101 or have equivalent experience.

Please bring 30ft of rope and either safety shears or a rope cutting hook. These can be purchased in the store before the class. Please show up 15-20 minutes before the start of class if you need to make a purchase.
Who is your instructor?
Nicole, a.k.a. Ropeboundkitten, is a rope maker and artist in Oregon. She prides her company on ethical sourcing and high-quality natural and organic fibers. Nikole has been making and teaching rope aethetics and connection for about 5 years. She loves focusing on individual expression and creative aesthetics and connection with yourself and your partners. A personal goal of hers is to create a safe space of learning and expression where all feel welcome.

REFUND POLICY *Please note, all ticket sales are final, however, tickets are transferable to another party in the event that you are not able to attend. Ticket transfers must be approved and processed prior to the day of the event.
A gentle reminder about As You Like It Events: In order to fulfill one of our core goals of supporting sex educators, the majority of the registration fee goes directly to our facilitators to compensate them for their time, knowledge, and skills. The remainder goes to paying an employee to be on site setting up and breaking down, food costs if any, and marketing expenses. Eventually we hope to have a fully funded nonprofit side of As You Like It that can offer scholarships for events, but for now, we have to charge a fee for events like this.
